Outrun Cyber Dynamics LLC ("we", "us", "our") built the Arrive app as a commercial app. This Service is provided by Outrun Cyber Dynamics LLC and is intended for use as is.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone using our Service.

Information We Collect

Arrive stores your alarms and settings only on your device. We do not operate servers that hold your alarms, and your alarm names, addresses, notes, and coordinates are never sent to us. You remove this data yourself by deleting an alarm in the app or by uninstalling the app.

We do collect anonymous usage data about how the app is used, described under Analytics and Session Replay below. It contains no location data and no text you type, and you can turn it off at any time in the app's Settings.

Location Data

Arrive uses your location for two distinct purposes:

• Alarm monitoring (on-device). To trigger your location-based alarms, Arrive monitors when you enter a geographic region. This geofencing is performed entirely on your device by iOS and is not transmitted to us or to any third party. It also works offline.
• Search and place naming (sent to Google). When you search for a place or drop a pin to create an alarm, your search text and your location coordinates are sent to Google's Places and Geocoding APIs to return relevant results and place names. Apart from your App Store territory — an account setting described under Analytics below, which is not a measure of where you are — this is the only situation in which location-related information leaves your device.

We do not store your search or location history.

Camera

If you use the address-scanning feature, Arrive uses your device's camera to recognize a street address. This text recognition happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device technology. Camera images are not stored or transmitted.

Analytics and Session Replay

To understand how Arrive is actually used and to catch problems we would otherwise never hear about, the app sends anonymous usage data to our analytics provider, PostHog. This is on by default and you can turn it off at any time — see Your Choices below.

What We Never Send

Before anything else, here is what analytics never includes:

• No location. No GPS coordinates, no geofence positions, no location data of any kind.
• No place names, addresses, alarm names, or note text.
• No search queries. We record that a search happened, never what you typed.
• No advertising identifier (IDFA) and no tracking. We do not share anything with data brokers and we do not combine it with third-party data for advertising, which is why Arrive never shows you an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• No IP-based location lookup. We explicitly disable geolocation-from-IP on every event.

What We Do Send

• Product events — a fixed set of things that happen in the app: onboarding steps and whether you granted a permission, viewing the paywall, purchases and restores, alarms created, edited, deleted, switched on or off, and triggered, searches performed, and settings changed.
• Technical health events — geofence registration failures, failed API requests (recorded as an endpoint name and an HTTP status code only), problems opening the local database, and permission changes.
• Bucketed details attached to those events, never the raw value. For example an alarm's radius is recorded as a range such as "251–500 m", whether a note exists as simply true or false, how many search results came back as a range such as "1–3", and which category of alarm sound you picked.
• Profile attributes — whether you have the premium unlock, how many alarms you have and how many are active, your chosen unit system, and your App Store territory (for example "USA"). Territory comes from your App Store account, not from your device's location.
• Technical context collected by PostHog — app version, iOS version, device model, and timestamps.

Session Replay

The app also periodically uploads screenshots of Arrive's own interface so we can see how people move through the app and where they get stuck. Nothing outside Arrive is ever captured. Before a screenshot leaves your device, the parts that could reveal anything about you are masked out — blacked over: maps, alarm names, addresses, notes, search fields, search results, and the camera scanner view. Network request URLs are not recorded at all. Turning analytics off stops session replay completely.

How Events Are Grouped

Events are tied to a random identifier that your device generates for itself and stores in the iOS Keychain. It is not derived from your Apple Account, device ID, advertising ID, email address, or name, and it tells us nothing about who you are — it only lets us see that a series of events came from the same device. Because it lives in the Keychain, it survives deleting and reinstalling the app, so a reinstall is counted as a returning user rather than a new one.

Your Choices

Analytics is on by default. To turn it off, open Settings in the app and switch off Share Anonymous Analytics. All event collection and all session-replay uploads stop immediately, and Arrive works exactly the same way with it off.

To be completely straight with you: one single event is recorded at the moment you opt out — the opt-out itself, so that we can count how many people choose to turn analytics off. It is a record of your choice, not information about you, and nothing further is sent from your device afterwards.

Third-Party Services

Arrive uses the following third-party services. Information sent to them is governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Places API & Geocoding API — used to power place search, autocomplete, and reverse geocoding. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics and session replay, processed on PostHog's servers in the United States. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

These providers may collect information used to identify you, in accordance with their own terms.

Purchases

Arrive offers in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information; it is handled entirely by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, so we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Rights

Because Arrive keeps your alarms and settings on your device, you remain in control of them at all times. You can access, correct, or delete your alarms and settings directly in the app, and you can remove all of it by uninstalling the app. The usage data described above is anonymous, so we normally cannot connect it to a particular person, but you can stop it at any moment by switching off Share Anonymous Analytics in Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — including the right to object to analytics, which that switch lets you exercise directly. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
